- Lead our CloudOps Guild as they support our Dev department and our company
- Develop and coordinate strategic solutions that align with the business objectives and the architectural direction of the organization
- Work with in-house developers who design Cloud-based technical architectures, migrations, and application optimizations that enable our company's business objectives
- Create and deliver recommendations, training, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code
- Lead evolution and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Enable/instruct peers and team members to be self-sufficient in the pursuit of solving complex technical issues
- Maintain relevance with compliance best practices
- 5 years leading and managing large projects and rolling out infrastructures across various technologies, or 3 years with an advanced degree
- Comfortable collaborating with team-mates in hybrid and remote situations
- The ability to provide leadership and advocate the appropriate use of technology in balancing technical elegance with functional requirements and practical benefits
- Expertise in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies
- Experience in writing software in one or more of the following languages: Java, C/C , Python, JavaScript, Scala, Rust, Go
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and continuous integration/delivery
- Experience working with and managing external partners
- Familiarity of microservice design and architectural patterns
- Familiarity with complex event processing and event-driven architecture
